BCB may have been suggesting a mirror on the ceiling

Mirrors on the ceiling
The pink champagne on ice
And she said "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device"
And in the bathroom chamber
I hung the mirror on the wall
She took one look and - she was appalled

Next thing I remember, was running for the phone

Had to get back to the glazier, to fix what had been done

"Relax" said the voice mail, "We're off until next week"

".............."

Got writers block / finished taking my dump before I could work out a last line... :S

Wife in a panic, she let out a shriek

So I fixed the problem, hung the mirror in one of the kids rooms that night.

Wife looked at me with a smile, "everything will be alright"

Haha - we did agree on most things, which the tiler said was rare.

The mirror over the bath is staying - it's the front of a storage cabinet recessed into the wall. Mirror should bounce some of the light from the window into the room.

But yeah a tv there would be sweet!

So my moisture issues in my bay window continue...but only when it rains. I think I've narrowed it down to water getting in through the window/frame itself, and talking with a glazier about it seems to indicate that the gaskets have most likely failed and letting water through. Annoying thing is that the only real way to properly rectify it is to replace the entire bay window - frame and all. Going to get some proper quotes next week, but initial estimate is that it'll cost me $2.5-3k

Sucks, because until it's sorted I can't re-paint that bedroom wall, as there's no point if water is going to come back through the new paint again anyway. Also can't really paint the exterior of the front of the house until then either.

Housemate also moved out and in with his GF, so I needed to buy a dining table and chairs. Spent a couple of days hard out going everywhere looking...man there's some sh*t out there! And there's also some rather expensive stuff out there too! Ended up settling on a really nice table and went a little bolder on my chair choice than is usual for me...so waiting patiently until it's all delivered on Wednesday to see if the decision paid off or not haha.

Houses are expensive...
