Try googling "choosing a fence colour" for some ideas on what aspects of your home and garden, along with personal taste, influence fence colour.

At some point I wouldn't mind putting basalt slat extensions on the top of the perimeter fencing all around so it covers their crappy looking shade cloths etc and gives a little more privacy. 1
