Hmm, this also seems like a bit of a PIT....although, perhaps slightly less so than being up in my roof. Its routing the c@nts through the house that's a huge pain the arse 🤣 Do it in winter, the roof is much more pleasant 🤣 My brother is in the process of building a house, plans to have ethernet ports in every room and wants a server rack installed. I'll be doing the network side of things once the wiring has been put in place. Sure as sh#t ain't doing that part 😋 Oh yeah, terminating them and that part of things would be fine...running cables through the house, not so much. I pulled the skirting boards off and ran the cables between the floor and the plaster at my sisters house that had vaulted ceilings. Pro tip is it not stuff a 6RU rack in the linen closet without a rack fan and temprature sensor though. Mmmmm heat. I tell this to anyone building a house. Has anyone every actually walked into a house and thought "man, there's way too many power/data points in this house"...

Used porters paints... absolutely amazing stuff apparently. https://www.porterspaints.com/find-a-store/south-australia/bunnings-edwardstown Hudson’s room... nice charcoal grey... again pics don’t really convey how dark they are. William is obsessed with yellow, yellow isn’t on trend so I compromised and did mustard... Spare room.... following the dusty pink theme... Stone is also starting to go in... 2
