I upgraded it with a Core 2 Duo T9500 and 4GB DDR2 ram lol. Works fine for everyday use, skype and tuning and as above, boots in about 7 seconds or so. I've replaced the battery once since 2008. Haha I spose I'm due for an upgrade but do I need to? Nope.
