Toshiba L300 with ssd checking in here. I upgraded it with a Core 2 Duo T9500 and 4GB DDR2 ram lol.

Works fine for everyday use, skype and tuning and as above, boots in about 7 seconds or so. I've replaced the battery once since 2008.

Haha I spose I'm due for an upgrade but do I need to? Nope.

Awesome deal :)

You'll love it - make sure you chock the pedals up so they're not moving.

Where's the fun in that? Just leave them on the floor and drive yourself farken nuts repositioning them every 5 minutes.

I bought a 300 x 300 stick on foam thing from bunnings that looks like the jar opener cloths that you get. It worked great.

well that was a waste of time and about $10 worth of fuel

cut a long story short, wheel didn't work

the guy I bought it off said when I picked it up that I could have my money back if it didn't work

he was true to his word and I got my $50 back

when I got it home and plugged it in it wouldn't stop rotating in one direction

found this on YouTube

pulled it apart and it was missing what this guy calls the carousel (at 7:10)

a large plastic part, beats me how it was missing

anyway, back to my Xbox controller :gaming:

Well that sucks.

Just go buy a new one mate. Harvey Norman price match so you could save a bit of money if you look around.

upgrades lately:

1tb 860 evo ssd(finally!)

and finally a proper watercooling pump that actually moves the water:

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/38863/ek-xres-100-ddc-mx-3-1-pwm-pump-reservoir-combo

The temperatures are much better as the old pump was barely moving the water through the loop compared to this new pump.

next up I am thinking new motherboard cpu and ram but not sure how much difference it will make. Maybe a fancy monitor should come first.

If you're upping size/resolution/refresh then a monitor would be my pick too.
