on another note quick bench of the 2700x v 7800x

 

7800x - R15

cpu - 1358

opengl - 58.09

 

2700x - R15

cpu - 1533

opengl - 111.12

 

tested furmark as well but its single card v SLI so irrelevent. Will run firestrike etc tomorrow and see how we compare, though its still sli v 1 gpu. Physics on this chip should smash the 7800 though

I finally got passed the PVT tool and now I cant redeem 😞

 

I have 2 codes and both say they have been used. I got them emailed directly to me yesterday

and just coz im bored ive been playing with this 2700x. Its doing some weird shizzle. Factory clocks are 3700mhz but its always showing 4000 all cores clocking. Ive reset everything bios and software but still the same thing. Ive tried bios settings and anything over 4000mhz just crashes the pc, im assuming the app centre is responsible for it however im not too fussed at this point.

 

clocked at 4ghz and ram at 3333mhz netted a good gain on R15 from 1533 to 1768 (still under performing but its 100% software related somewhere) but well over 400points better than the flagship 7800 which was clocked @4.3ghz all cores
