you lucky to find a 3080 anywhere at all. Your choices are 3070 or 3090.

Right now I am just waiting for the 3080 with 20/24gb of ram to come out and I will get one of those.

However the rumour is that it will only be coming out at the end of February.

This pisses me off so much:

I've been using this for over 12 months now and hasn't missed a beat

plenty of features and coming in at a mid-range price

also pleasing to the eye with a nice ROG logo in RGB (you can turn that off if RGB makes you puke)

I managed to secure one of these:

Got to pick it up, once I get back into town this week. Being onsite about 1700km from Perth, makes it hard to pickup stuff from store.

Then I get to pickup memory from another computer place, which leaves me without a graphics card for who knows how long.

Ohh that reminds me, I need an AMD CPU waterblock bracket. Has to be ordered from EKWB cause no one has them in stock. ffs.

How annoying is it that EK do the backplate separately but recommend it.....like just sell the product with it.

Thinking of adding a triple rad up front and a block for the 3080.

It's actually making quite a lot of money mining crypto. smashes cyberpunk but honestly I regard the 3080 as a 1440p high FPS card. 10g vram should be fine for me.

I found a 3080 in Western Australia this morning but it might pay to give them a call to confirm.

Yeah dunno what crack the pc was on then but I just tried it again with slightly lowered settings and it runs 60fps no worries.

Hi guys, hate to pass on the cost I paid to a scalper but I am finally picking up the EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 I ordered on launch night tomorrow.

I managed to secure an Asus Tuf OC 3080 a few weeks back whilst waiting (ETA was unknown). I am now looking to offload the new EVGA card for the 1600 I paid for my current card... I am located in WA and would prefer not to post if possible

I thought it was worth offering it to someone on the forums prior to popping on marketplace - I have no doubt it will sell quickly

Alternatively if someone is more interested in the Tuf I might consider selling this. Card has only had a slight bit of use for Cyperpunk and has been undervolted to 0.875V from day one.
