I've said it before and I'll say it again: you haven't spent enough time in Tasmania if you haven't played bumper cars with the local wildlife.

Have only been passenger in a fourby that ran over a wombat at decent pace, never hit anything in the hire car luckily!

Bits of road kill here and there. No more than you'd think. Have ran over a couple of snakes, though, over the course of the 3 days of driving with these fellas. (none on my single day by myself though )

How's the ride back over going? 

Theres a big storm front going across tassie now. Hopefully the swell is being reasonable.

Yeah, the ride back wasn't too bad. No worse than the calm waters of my trip over to Tasmania.
