^^ that's definitely NOT true... it's most definitely slower

yeah I didn't say faster, its like it seems to load every element at once rather than slowly loading down the page.

 

I realize this can also be my connection but I click submit on this post and I find it 'snappier' than before.

nothing's changed except the time taken to load the data...

When I go back to the previous page now ("Unread Content") it refreshes and the topic I just read is no longer on the page (that's the way it used to be)

 

I had to refresh the page manually previously to get rid of the topics I'd read.

that'd be related to caching being off, you'd imagine.
