If you got 322 mm turbo brakes 17 should fit.  If bigger it won't.  Sure you weren't trying to fit a 16. 

 

It wouldn't rotate for two reasons. 

 

One it it was a 16 and rubbing on the caliper.  And 2 you fitted it on the rear with the handbrake on. 

 

 

Or 3.  The bottom of the tyre was on the ground

Wow that sucks being sold a car with a totally wrong PCD spare hahaha...damn.  Non car people are usually ignorant of PCD and centre bore size though.

Yeeeeep. Can't think what else it would be for, seems slightly bigger so imagine it's been pulled from a holden. Anyways, getting a cheap tyre fitted while I wait for new rims and tyres to arrive. Then I'll be right, was just inconvenient and annoying.

So instead of fixing my flat...I just put new rims and tyres on. Problem solvered.

I need to debadge the bootlid of my car, looks so stupid cause I removed the turbo badge to try and fool people but it has fooled exactly zero people. was meant to have swapped the 'smoke altezzas' with someone as well hahahaha im so lazy.
