Just put in my leave request to make that a long weekend for me - should be okay - but ya never know with my line of work ...

I'll book my accomodation a little closer.

Definitely looking at Warnambool for Sunday night. Just working out the way to get there.

I have put my GoPro in for a RMA.  Just waiting now for the discount code so I can buy another one at 40% discount (mine was out of warranty even though I still think the thing should still be working okay 2 years after buying it).

Quick query for you guys regarding Sundays drive.

Is there any interest in stopping to watch the Melbourne F1's mid drive on the Sunday or trying to reach our destination in time to watch it live?

The race starts at 4ish so (if we want to stop to watch it we could either try to get to Warrnambool in time to settle into our rooms or stop off at Mt Gambier or nearby to watch and continue on to Warrnambool after the race)

Sundays drive will be about 8+ hours 650km (without detours, stops, pictures etc) so getting into Warrnambool by 4 will be pretty much a straight drive through.

It's just me, Evil and Keith who are headed to Warrnambool I believe?

I'll be recording the race on my foxtel automatically so I don't care if I miss it "live". If you want to organise a time to watch it live specifically for yourself, then sure, no worries.

Well this sucks :(

Looks as if the Mexican Restaurant I'd pinned all my hopes on for the cruise still hasn't reopened from their renovations started last year.

Am still waiting for confirmation, but things aren't looking good.

Rather than calling off the whole cruise/event (/sarcasm) would any of the local guys be able to put forward an alternative venue we should look at heading to for the Saturday night feed?

Alternatively - would moving the Friday night BBQ to the Saturday night be preferred? We could all meet up at the pub down the road mentioned earlier in the thread for the Friday night dinner.

Haha local guys aka me and boxy.

I reckon a bbq at the park on Friday night might be better.

I was thinking that you blokes would have been driving all day and probably want to chill out rather than drive to the park to book in then to the pub then back to the park after.

I don't really mind though.
