I think it may have got "lost" when we transitioned from v3 to v4 of this forum software... but that was before I got any access.

I'll have a play with it over the weekend, but I think I need to rotate it to the left a bit and extend the inlet - making it more obviously look like a "6" Will try and get the shape right then worry about colours, if at all. Hopefully you guys can understand what I'm trying to get it to look like - feel free to have a play with the image yourself, or to tell me it's a stupid idea to start with and to look for another theme/icon. 1

Here's the two full-size images: and the other one (current icon): I think they're both pretty average looking, really. The one that people gave feedback above on was this one (full size): It was just a quick composite of a free image, the ford logo and the compressor vanes from the original blue one above turned black and squished/rotated roughly into place. I think if it actually was a turbo compressor instead of a caricature, eg, the silver shading etc with a thin outline instead of the thick outline, I reckon it'd look OK. (no blue, but blue makes sense if we're trying to indicate an obvious "ford" theme). Open to thoughts/criticism. Keeping in mind these are only really ideas and trials and no real effort has been put into an image, yet. For anybody who would like to know the challenges of making an icon, it needs to be "square" and maximum size of 32x32 pixels and this maximum size means it can do weird things when you make it so small, hence why it looks a little blurry as it currently sits. 1
