Slightly windy today but I think for our direction roughly heading westwards hopefully means most of the rainfall will be behind us

Going to give one of Rab's Insta360 cameras in-car today.  Good thing will be wearing trousers in-car, wouldn't want anything to pop out inadvertently during the twisties :roflmbo:

Just took a peak outside again and I see blue skies :drivingalong:

@YLD127 - found the Emu :)  (9:24am, it was, we set off at 9:00am yesterday). Don't see many of them up here. First one for me. Was tricky to spot as it blended in with the background better than I remembered from reality.

My happy place (other than driving these excellent roads, of course) last night...

The roads there and back were not so happy though haha. So wet, outback-y and full of road kill and soon to be roadkill. Made it through unscathed, luckily.

That's all we've seen so far (from my dashcam footage near Thredbo), but now that we're in Omeo, the prediction for tonight/tomorrow is anything above 800m of elevation there's a risk of snow 😮 let's see how we go tonight/tomorrow haha.

Another fantastic day of driving completed.

Back through my favourite road but this time it was quite wet and some close calls were had  have to find these bits in my dashcam footage haha.

Stopped at Khancoban and said goodbye to @El Andrew. Thanks for coming mate, it was great having another non-silver car in the lineup :stirthepot:

Then on to Tallangatta for lunch. Delicious Vanilla Slice and a pie for me. No food pics.

Then through Mitta Mitta and onto Omeo. @YLD127's favourite road. It is epic just like Alpine Way but in a different way. Very enjoyable due to the fact the rain buggered off in the arvo and we got a good run into Omeo.

Ready for our final night and one last (hopefully not treacherous) drive tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Can we get a picture of Rab's brake rotors, I'm pretty sure they are bigger than the actual wheel itself!
