Finding build sheets for Ba fpv gt's

Hi guys, been searching for a fpv for myself. Like most people you try to do as much home work on the cars you find interest in. One Ba gt I looked at yesterday had dramatic and conflicting odo recordings on the ppsr report, so you begin to question everthing.

Is it possible to get build sheets for these cars when going through the purchase process?

Can they be found useing engin and vin numbers? Or by fpv build number.

id quickly realised fpv build tags could be purchased online so that didnt give much comfort...

Unfortunately Ford no longer will produce build sheets for each car. When COVID hit, every Ford owner of every type of car (ordinary or historic), was writing in to get a copy. It was a free service (which suprised me). I did research as I wanted one for my car and apparently Ford changed their information systems so they can't produce one. I think they still have records but it was just to much work. I reckon if they charged a few hundred dollars for them, it would have deterred every man and their dog and they could have probably made some money out of it. 

 

Best bet is to get the rego check for your state (NSW do one from ServicesNSW). Also get a report from carhistory.com.au.
