Not sure if anyone has had this issue in past but anyway

Ba xr6t

Driveing along last night at 100kphm little red hand came on dash and car lost power for a couple seconds then came good and hand went off at same time  it came good.

Also other night on a trip engine light came on while driveing up up hill at 90-100kph and started missing etc. Pulled over and it idle roughy but came good after a minute. So kept driveing for another 800 ks

I don't have a scan tool with me as I'm 1000ks from home. So I will go get a cheap scan tool and see if it picks anything up

certainly not an ideal situation to be driving 800km with a situation like that, but as long as it came good and went stable again, it might just be a temporary situational warning.

Yeah not sure. I don't have my proper scan tool with me so tried a Foxwell one that clearly stated it suitable for ba bf FG Falcons (and multiple other cars listed) but shows nothing.

I did swat the TPS sensor as have that spare with me .

Also other night the imobqliser hand came up on dash at same time engine hicuped like it konked out while doing 90kph for a second but was fine afterwards and been ok since.

I did disconnect battery earlier and drove it for a bit and seemed ok then. ..

Only thing I did before we left was changed fuel filter and also removed the air box (growler air box) to change a bulb.

I know there's wireing connectors behind the headlight where the growler air box gets bolted and the can get water in em and cause all sorts of issues. Wondering if I disturbed a wire in there 🤔🤔

I wouldn't worry too much if it's been OK for such a long time, but I'd add a precaution of adding a toolbox to the car (including the scan tool) for the time being (say, the next 5,000km) lest the issue return.

Well. We mad.itnhome other day. Ironically ...was 3 ks from our driveway  slowing down on highway to turn off and boom enging light and instantly felt like only running on 2 cylinders. Pulled over as there was zero throttle response. Turned off and on and was running on all again but laggy as. Like it was inn3 Rd gear (no dash ligh or D flashing either)

Got home unpacked etc. Checked codes and it had

Forced limited shutdown

Speed limiter reached.

Both pointed towards throttle issue. But I have had these codes in past aswell.

Anyway the throttle body connections was suss so I cut plug off and used some connections etc for now to tri. It's been ok since now but it was also all good on the 1000 K trip home till the last 3 ks...lol

I don't really hold hopes up but will see.

Also does anyone have a engine wireing loom for a ba xr6t? I want to replace mine tombe sure.

I know years ago I pined out a n/a look and a xr6t loom and was from memory 1 or 2 wires that needed swapping round otherwise most was same same one being map sensor and plug
