60ft = 2.036

How do I get the 60ft down ?

MT's will help I run 12.4 with 20's then I bought a set of MT's and I run a 11.8 same tune

Had the first runs with my phoon last Saturday.

12.8 @ 112 with a 2.1 60'. With MT Radials. ZF.

Had 8 runs with all speeds about the same.

Car has 80 kw more than stock, tend to not believe the headline figure of 314rwKw.

Dynoed out at 235 stock which looked reasonable, then 314 after injectors, tune and cat out.

She was really doughy off the line until the boost kicked in. Didn't get a half track print out on the slip except for the DYO rounds when it was 89mph.

Not really happy, with that power should be low 12s.

Having her redynoed at a different shop next monday, for a comparo.

I think what you will need to do is get the 60ft time down, how much pressure are you running in the MT's?

Running Standard 17" tyres, a full tank of fuel, lots of crap in the boot, My T ran a 12.8 @ 108 with 255rwkw. Needed WAY more traction off the line and it could have knocked a few tenths more off that.

Getting off the line cleanly and right on the edge of wheelspin is Critical to running a good time.

you can flub the launch up or a shift and still post a good mph.

hmmm, the pressure sounds about right, you could leave it there otherwise you'll run out of top end, I haven't got any experience with the ZF, but how are you stalling it up - 2500rpm?

I agree guys - something doesn't sound right- I've had several BA XR6 T'S- One of them had an edit only - 256rwkw (Nizpro Dyno) 4spd Auto and on street tyres at Calder ran :

60ft 2.14

12.72 E.T @ 112.7MPH

The latest venture is an 03' T 4SPD auto totally standard except for Typhoon 2nd CAI AND generic capa tune - it ran a 12.64 @110.6mph @ Calder.

I suggest it may have around the 260rwkw mark @ 112mph, as 314rwkw should yield between 117-119mph @ very low 12's on street tyres and high 11's on MT'S.

I took my 02 4 speed T to Heathcote a few weeks ago. Mods are Phoon lower snorkel and K&N panel. It has 80k on the clock and I ran 13.97 @ 101mph. Was pretty happy with that
