Edit: How can you tell they are ex rentals from Kalgoorlie? do you do revs check or something on them? with <35000kms and no sign of KBC plates and no red dust (from pics anyways); theyve obviously done a good job of hiding it lol

Although some stooge drove off the end of the track just before me into the sandpit! Hahaha I was stuck on the line for like 20 mins while they towed him out.. He drove off in shame and left the venue forever I assume

I vaguely remember john zappier doing the same thing in his VR funny car? Chutes failed on his shakedown run?

That's an awful lot of sand infront of his drive tyres hey. I wonder if his embarrassment was from sinking it so deep into the sand trap, or from snatching reverse and trying to back it out if there?...

While I was stuck at the line one of the motorplex blokes came up, apologised for the delay and showed me the picture on his iPad. He reckons it's the furthest anyone's ever got in the sand trap INCLUDING proper drag cars. He mustn't have hit the brakes at all!!
