Just checked the GW site and for the diff oil for an FPV F6 either BFII or FG it notes needing the additive which I've read about before and have heard is expensive:

Differential
ULTRA CLEAR SYN 85w140
Service Refill Capacity: 1.82 Litres (see note 463)
NOTES

463 Add 40 ml. of additive Ford Part No. R178, at each oil change. Refer to Dealer.
Castrol I have previously read people using SAF-XA which I think needs no additive. The Castrol site picker (they both actually use the same datateck site) for either an FPV F6 BFII or FG says use the below oil with NO ADDITIVE:

DIFFERENTIAL
CASTROL SYNTRAX 80W-140
Full synthetic rear axle fluid incorporating Castrol's most advanced transmission fluid technology. Engineered to provide protection at the extremes of high and low operating temperatures, it is our prime recommendation for rear axles used in competition, severe duty and long drain applications. Suitable for both limited and non-limited slip rear axles. SAE 80W-140, API GL5/6.
Service Refill Capacity: 1.82 Litres.
See note 706 below.
706
Do NOT use any additives.

Thoughts from those in the know?

So then we'd just need another maintenance day to do all the changes.

First step, find out when Kyle is not in town and book it on that date.....

Hahahaha Gold.

But he will be supplying the oil. Is that a wise choice?

Welcome back Phill. Where have you been lately?

Just gauging interest form anyone else on purchase of catch can.

Have found an eBay sell with the below catch can.

They are split camber and baffled with drain plug.

c97b7b47dcef26923de8ff04101513ee.jpg

This OIL CATCH CAN Spiltflow system is designed to clean and seperate oil residues from the engine crankcase. The oil residue are seperated and filtered as it passes through the baffled can allowing clean air back in the inlet system of your vehicle. A simple application that is easy to fit for results on perfromance vehicles. The unit can be pulled apart for easy cleaning and also has a draining plug.

Is any one else interested in purchase?

(Any question on unit ask Arron, as he runs two of this type). Lol thanks Arron.

I have had a quick chat to supplier on discount a little while ago and he could do two units for $85.00 this needs confirming again.

If a few are keen I will hit him up for further discount.

Cheers
