Make sure you measure the diff fill plug Marco. Unless you already know the size of yours, I think they vary from 30 to 32mm but memory is hazy.

So I spoke to Steve and he warned me about the rather large size of the fill plug.

I went and checked my kingchrome spanner set and the biggest open spanner I have is a 24.

Looks like I will have to buy a spanner just for this job. Does anyone know the exact size for the fill plug for the diff?

Covs is across the road from here and they have a huge 32 open spanner, but I don't want to buy it if I don't need it.

Anyone done their own diff oil change on their FG?

Measure it! There are two sizes and I'm not sure where the crossover is or what the two exact sizes are. 30, 31 or 32.

Also I had XFT do mine :)
