Considering running the car down the track for the first time either tomorrow or next Wednesday. Somewhat a little hesitant as I really don't want to break anything...

Yeah that sucks, so do pointless lock nuts. Most people with half a brain will get them off without the key in a few seconds anyway.

I also question if they are a good idea from a balancing perspective as well. The ones I took off my fg were clearly a different weight to the rest of the wheel nuts.

Fark, I am now glad that I took mine off like 3/4 weeks ago. At least it did not get to that point.

I hope you got them off easily enough LazyBrennan.

haha Im glad I went to take my wheels off this morning and not just before leaving to go to the drags!

Got them off. Socket, Breaker bar and a big hammer... Helps when one of ya best mates is a fitter
