Anyone go? Just curious to see exactly how many turbo XR6's/F6's were entered as per the AME spiel:

"WHAT'S NEW?

Ford will Debut their much anticipated “Territory Turbo” at the Show along with other special “Packs” for the public to see and buy; and not to be upstaged, Expensive Daewoo will have its sales debut of the “Astra Turbo”… a $34000 pocket rocket that will be only available in limited quantities. There will be 2 available for sale at the Show.

In some respects, TURBO's will play a dominating part of this years event with 3 different TURBO V8 LS1's , A host of Ford TURBO's including the Typhoon, XR5 and Territory plus Holden's Astra Rocket and to finish us all off..."

I know I was asked to enter the F6 but couldn't due to prior engagements. Plus, I don't see the point of featuring a relatively stock car. Would have been more appropriate after the Cobra kit was fitted and tuned.

Both Donna and I went yesterday. It was pretty a pretty good event overall I think.

There were quite a few turbos and naturally plenty of V8s, no F6s as far as (just queried the other half) we recall aside from the ones that McInerny had for show along with the TT and XR5.

Probably the most impressive dyno entry was an SS ute pulling in just a hair under 700RWHP. A couple of the modded GT(-P)'s were hitting 385-390RWHP or so.

I'll upload some pics when I get a few server side issues sorted.

Eddies TT Late model camira made 1895 RWHP at the show on sunday night
