I am trying to change the heater mixer shaft, and in fords infinite wisdom they have made it so I have to take the seat out so I can take the handbrake off so I can take the centre console off so I can get the dash out to change this stupid plastic shaft. I can come to you btw, just need em loosened a bit! I have already snapped one t50 bit and the other is starting to bend.cheers!today preferably, but if not I'll put the necessary bits back in and loosen the bolts next week/weekend.don't know for sure, but pretty confident dash comes out without taking out the seat. from memory you can pop of the gear level surround, unscrew screws down the side of the centre console and under the4 tissue box hole then main facia comes out. from the you can just keep taking bits off.
