yep that would be me, helpin a mate move house n had the hardcover up, turned a corner n my hardcover clip decided 2 pop out..

hardcover out of slot + corner = hardcover into rear window= me sh*tting myself!!!haha all tinted up now again but with 2 fresh dings from hardcover :laughing:

Do you know which Torana springs they are that go in the BF's? Pedders told me about that option a while back but I couldn't remember what model Torrie they were meant for??

No not sure what type of torry it was. When he said that I thought it sounded a little dodgy to be honest but I had heard of it before. Everyone here talks about the King springs and you hardly ever hear about a good spring set up with Lovell's.

I went to West Coast Wheels in Mandurah on Sat to have a look and get a quote and the place looks fairly well kept. They were more than helpful and the quote came in at a good price. Apparently they do a great job of rolling guards by heating up the arch and using some sort of roller system to slowly bend them in. Definitely not using the old wood block and hammer system that I've heard used and he guarantees not to crack the paint. At 75 clams an arch, it doesn't sound too bad of an option.
