Sure, it's easy. Simply set the turbo duty cycle to 100% and wha-la - you have instant low down grunt. Something I'm not an advocate of though.

Are you sure that's all it is??

We ( you and I ) went thru this months ago, on the dyno.

You saw your tune, you saw Nicks tune, You saw Simons tune..

What did U think??

Got a dyno sheet showing boost? There's probably a couple of other things that will make a little difference too - namely spark and fuel. Without them boost is useless.

Remember when we did our testing? Remind me again, how hot was it?

You can't compare a tune done on a 15 deg day with one done on a 36-38 deg day and expect the same result.

Did you try the other tunes you had on Wednesday night? It's a fair question I think.

I'm not trying to discredit the Wog's work at all. A good result deserves a good wrap.

I guess there'll be a lot going on in the off-season getting car prepped for September

Great job mate, good to see a notch for all the manual drivers. For someone not really into drags, you have proven what some determination and thinking outside the square can do.

Oh yeah Wog well done, I seem to hear your name and great results. Keep up the good work.

I did.

You're still failing to see the whole point I'm trying to make, and the answer to the question.

Peak power HAS NOT changed.

The time the power reaches peak is 600rpm earlier. The time the Peak figure drops is 2000rpm later than any other tune I've had.

If it's that easy, why isn't everyone doing it??

I did ask every tuner I've had to do it.

I'll graph up all the tunes with torque and post it up over the weekend as a comparo....

You didn't ask every tuner. Or at least, not me.

Without this thread going off in 2 different tangents and debating different tuning styles to death, I believe the more favourable weather has helped with the ability to develop more midrange power.

Traction, technique and skill also have had a contributing factor. Shame you weren't able to do 3-4 runs without the licensing issue rearing it's head. It would have shown the consistancy of the runs.
