I had a Powerchip installed about 3 weeks ago. I'm getting 8.3 litres per 100klm on the freeway (recorded between Goulburn and Sydney). Average over the last several tankfulls (which include towing a trailer and motorbike for 300ks with a completely full car) is 12.3 l/100k's. Much more power, so you do tend to dump it a bit more too!

For this kind of power I reckon this is awesome economy!

3000kms on board.

Trip PC shows 11.8 L/100kms - manual calc shows 11.2 L/100kms. These numbers are all based on since new.

The 'T' is a manual, and it's mostly all country driv'n in 80 & 100 km/h zones, including 'enthusiastic' overtak'n & quick fangs to the shops for milk etc.

I expect the numbers to improve once there are a few more k's on the dial. Oh yeh, and when the novelty wears off......yeh, right!

3600k on clock and 15.0 on trip computer.

75% city driving/25% country.

Would expect this to improve nearing 10000k, guess I'm hoping for about 12l/100, would be reasonably happy with thereabouts.

Only used BP premium so far, but may have to use alternatives via 6000k trip over next two weeks.

We are getting better than 12lt/100 on maybe 60% city/40% country driving so l reckon you should get 12 once run in.

Are you working out your economy manually or reading it off the computer, as l have found our computer estimates about 0.5lt/100 too high.

Mondie, just off trip computer for the 15.0l/100k, but manually worked out to 14.3, so yeah, 0.5 difference is pretty much it.

Be good when we are back from holly's in two weeks, should have approx 9000-10000 on clock, with approx 80-20% country/city travel during this time.

Be interesting to see the figures when we get home.

About to do a trip to Sydney from up the north coast. Have just on 9,000 klms and average about 11 to 12 litres per 100 klms. Highway and country road driving.

Fuel economy?

nah I think we should refer to it as fuel consumption, my beast just went 535klm's on a tank previous best was 509k's. When I filled her up afterwards she drank 64 litres of Ampol premium. Along with a six speed auto like the ZF unit in the new XJ Jag, I hope the series 2 BA has a bigger fuel tank.

Going at 18.2L.

I hope she loosens up soon, can't afford it for much longer.

I am not longer giving it, I take 1/4 throttle starts all the way till I get to my designated speed.

3200k's, and 11.3l/100km.

Manual, virtually all (100-110 posted) highway, BP Ultimate. A fair bit more than the VT it replaced, but not a drama given the way the car performs.

Dont know how you guys get the low l/100km.

Im nearing 10000km and without reseting the trip cpu its sitting on 17.3l/100km. It has been as low as low 16's but that's it. Most of my driving is around Chadstone area in Melbourne, either the car is drinking too much or it could be possible that my right shoe could be a bit heavy. If its the shoe I think I better take it back and get some lighter ones. :D
