I think you may want to have it checked at your next service. Or go for a decent run up the Hume and back and see what it comes back to.

I have never had mine drink that much.

Most of my driving is Hwy. I recently did a return run to Swan Hill. Sat her on 101km/h all the way. It was a 600K round trip. The trip computer returned a 10.4l/100KM. I pit 62L in her for 600K travelled. Fairly good I rekon. I am plaing on the Syntetic oil change at the 15,000km service (in 5000km). Hopefully that will get it up to around 650k per tank.

My "T" as done 9500k and I still get 16l/100k cant seem to get any better average. Mainly city driving in peak hour. never get it into 5th gear

When I do get out on the highway it does drop heaps, but it is all about averages and the more k's you have the harder it is to change it downward.

Who cares I didnt buy it for its fuel economy

just done a trip from alice to adel. return, average was about 650 kms per tank. cruise was set at 115kms and also using ulp olny. no pulp available for 1200 kms. car only traveled 4500kms. I was pretty impressed as you would

After 10,000ks I am averaging 15litres per 100k on the trip computer. Nearly all of these are city k's in 2-3 gears.

Seriously, I do a good combination of city/country and now just getting down to below 13l/100.

Plenty of fruity acceleration involved as well.

I'm sure you will improve as time goes on but...........

I reset my trip computer at 3000km's now I've done 3300 and I can't get it under 19.

I am not heavy footed anymore, I am having little hyundai's and even my wife beat me in her 1.3L suzuki swift....

Might be time for a change of flavour.

If I remember correctly (which is doubtful) mine didnt start to drop till around the 4-5k mark, currently averaging around the 12 mark with 17,000k's and still a heavy right foot.

From the photos on your web site, you don't appear to be a large man, Cro.

Mind you, they could be quite old and you could have packed on a few kilos?

Give the Krispy Kremes a miss for a while and see if your fuel consumption drops to match your donut consumption. :lol:
