Sometimes you just can't get around the fact that you are still trying to chuck a 2 tonne Daily drive around like a stripped out Race Car!

- Like it or not, there are limits!

- Weight, weight, weight....

Nelsonian, I found a terminal speed of 250kmh, at the braking point for Turn 1 at Philip Island, to be the 'absolute' limit for slowing my Car down and still making the Corner!

- 240-245 was a lot less stressful!

- And I do brake as late as possible.

Not sure about the end result of your 230 limit, but you come on to the staright at about 190-200kmh off the left Hander.

- Which means you are already carrying a lot of speed 'onto' the Straight!

Got a chance to Film it this time!

- We are back at the Philip Island 6 Hour August, 6th and 7th, in a few Weeks!

250km down the straight, wow I bet that was an interesting ride.... I start to feel unsure about my cars high speed stability at around 230km... with the old tune I hit a pb of 239km at the creek and I tell you that had me a little concerned...

G'Day Jim!

I believe we have a pretty good substitute for Aero!

- I call it weight!

The Car doesn't move around at all at higher speeds!

It lightens up over the Humps down Conrod and up Mountain straight, but still doesn't move around.

I guess good suspension setup 'helps' though!

That's absolutely flying mate!

I assume you didn't have much traffic?

What did you do to get the weight down?

This is insanely fast!

What has been stripped out to achieve such a low weight?

Have you driven Eastern Creek?

Can you list all your mods please.

I thought anything under 2min there was fast for these barges!

I'm giving it a go next year at the Island.

was traffic have to find footage passing Porsche Cup Car...

carpets gone

rear linings gone

rear seats gone

but the weight of the 4inch exhaust, spare wheel and full tank would probably be not alot different to standard!
