Speedflow fittings and filters are so expensive... everything else seems reasonable to me. Fuel systems can be very expensive for a good quality one, fittings/lines/custom-fabrication wise.

Unless you want to make massive power, I personally wouldn't be paying that much for a surge+044 fuel setup. Buy a falcon specific surge+044 setup from a manufacturer like plaz or pw etc and get an auto-elec to wire it up and then they're pretty easy to connect up to stock fuel lines etc and you'll be looking at about half of that price.

Yea I under estimated how much those fittings are, I looked into them after I received this quote. My original plan was PW with single 460. Just wanted to get a quote here since the car was already having work done.

I got a plaz surge 2nd hand, a 044 was about the same price as yours, made my own harness / relay setup and used ethanol rated fuel line ( non braid ) , all from green lane speed shop in Penrose, Auckland.

You might want to consider a non return valve too, post pump.

I didnt use a filter pre or post pump, figured the intank and chassis rail filter was enough, no problems so far with around 40,000kms on it.

I'd pm ralph and jet regards the pierberg pumps too before pulling the trigger on a 044- noisy mofo things, would not bang again.
