Random useless fact-

Old school farmers used to say "by the sun" when telling the time since they couldn't handle daylight savings at all

 

"Yeah it's about half past 4 by the sun, time for a cuppa tea"

Extra hour of daylight in the evening while still heading to work in the light is a bonus.

 

Winter can EAD - go to work in the dark, come home in the dark sucks.

 

Only hard thing about daylight savings is convincing the kids it's bed time while the suns still out for another hour or two

Get out of bed earlier ya lazy karnt!

 

My hrs used to be something along the lines of 5.30am - 10.30pm 7 days a week
