I adjusted the deck on the mower to cut more evenly front to back, with slightly more belt tension on the blades. Result: mowing the yard in top gear, flat out, grass and dust flying everywhere and spinning the inside tyre on tight turns. 1 1

Most of the yard is like that now but there are still a few patchy areas. Come summer time, after 2 weeks of 40c+, everything dies off and the whole front and back yards turn into bare dirt, mixed with 1 or 2 hardy weeds. Good old mid north SA weather for you.
