It's actually a fair bit of effort to arrange your ball skin evenly, then make sure the nuts are out the way.

 

It's a ball sack... Who cares imho. You'd need a decent audience to make it a worthwhile thing.

In other news, I'm gonna get some trans fluid tomorrow for a flush and fit the steel pan that @El Andrew gave me. I've already got a gasket and filter here.

 

There was a bit of slippy slip happening so I'll see if new fluid helps.

 

If not it's trans tuning time. Hopefully it holds up and doesn't snap itself.

from willtheyfit, as compared to a 17x8+36 stock rim...

"Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 2.3mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 10.4mm more than before."

 

but do you mean the actual clearance from the top of the tyre itself to the upper-control-arm ball-joint? won't know that for sure until you test-fit, but it should fit.
