That is not a bad effort at all...

BCL's time of 11.9 @ 138MPH (manual), I think 92 MPH half track takes the prize for the biggest gain from 1/2 track. That was his first ever pass in the car on cold Falken Azenis tyres. I think Brian was running 630 rwkw at the time.

I still reckon that is one of the most memorable runs that I have ever seen. The thing just took off from about half track and it dead set sounded like a jet figher.

112.5mph @ 262rwkw 6sp auto

Hi there Mark just came across your post and I coincidentally had my BF xr6t (A6 ZF) tuned only like a week ago by the C & V boys just flash with 60lbs and edit tune and we came up with 262.5kws! More the reason I write to you is that I’m heading down to WSID either next wed or the one after and I want to know a little bit about your launching method that netted you the 12.7! Just yesterday I had a bit of spare time and I was out Penrith way (getting remote) so I thought I’d practice some launch methods. Tried stalling up with Trac on and found that to be no good, then I tried stalling up with trac off and it got a whole lot more interesting. Had results from nice rubber peeling launch at around 2800 to smoke show from launching from 3100. So I guess I’m just curious to know how you’re managed! I’m running some sticky 255’s on the rear and I’m pretty sure the 2800 stall and go will yield me the goods! Anyways if you have some time would like to hear your thoughts! Dyno graph attached.

Ran a 14.200 with a 2.6 60 ft and 107mp/h with 306rwkw.

No idea why it ran such a bad time, just had it checked on dyno again,

nothing wrong with the hp except only hit fullboost at 3,500.

Tried taking off with tyre spin and without.. 14.2 was best run out of 5, rest were even worse.

I can't get my head around it, anyone got any ideas?

assuming the car is a manual? any more details?

getting your 60' time down say closer to a 2.0 will help heaps.. a tenth in the 60' ends up being about 2 tenths at the end ;)
