Hey guys, So annoyed I just missed out on the cruise (last weekend I think), was wondering if we all wanted to have a cruise to celebrate the new year? I'm working new years day, and I'm sure many have family commitments, but something around then would be awesome, dying to see everyone elses cars and meet others :) Let me know what you guys think.

Don't be afraid to produce a map and organise a time if you have something decent in mind, Steve, Tom and Kyle will appreciate the assistance as everybody is busy

Sure, that's not a problem. Wouldn't mind a bit of helping ideas before I do though, im a south boy and I assume a lot of the time these things go north? Nor have a been on a cruise so really know how long they go etc etc haha.

Distances of about 100km, give or take. Longer if it's mostly highways. Stick in 2 stops and that's about it! Any roads are fine except for suburban mazes or gravel/roadworks. Wider metro area, north or south. I'm based in the hills so tend not to make far south cruises, more of those would be cool. Single lanes are fine too.

I would love a cruise that ends up at the serpentine national park for a BBQ lunch - that would be really quite nice I think. Everyone could relax after a good mornings driving in a pristine national park.

I've never been on any cruises though before so would not really know what to do in terms of organising something.

How about a meet up at Grilled in Scarborough some night in the next month or two. There is a big carpark there where we can crap on about each others car and the Burgers are better at Grilled. Just make it a 2 hr event and meet up at 7pm one quiet week night.

Sounds good, you want me to make a thread for you to post up details in? Can even have a lazy map for after we eat if people have time.

Sounds good, just a nice leisurely cruise up the coast, I'd be up for that.
