X-cal 1 To Become Useless?

I bought an X2 a couple weeks ago, can I return it to Repco?? Should I try?? Will my tuner be pissed he isn`t going to recieve $ _, _ _ _ _ for the tune and upgrades??

Let me get this right, those with a box that has tunes in it, can happily swap tunes for ever and a day in their own vehicle, but shoud they want to add more mods and retune to suit then they are stuffed? Also the abilty to get a box unlocked and move it to another vehicle is gone.

I just want to know what this is all about in the simpliest of terms, for those of you that dont know my other alias is CHIEFXRT.

Well I will be sifting through my boxes in the garage and finding that old Haltech and Unichip... Ha!

SCT just cant do this, they have to come up with a means to continue the support of the XCAL 1 & 2s or they have to do a direct swap.

On the other hand, CAPA or the dealers never specified that this could ever happen upon purchasing the units hence they are going to have to be made responsible.

I was on the SCT US site a couple weeks ago and can vaguely remember that they were swapping out a series of their older boxes with new ones for some GM users. Hopefully they will do this for us.

I think that if this actually happens and SCT do not fix it then they might as well forget about the AUS market.

The problem is I would guess that we are only a drop in the ocean for them and wont even cause a ripple in their market share.

I'm not giving them another cent ...
