Sure did. Maybe $55! It was OK for about 4 years according to the dates in this thread so ROI was fair. Lots of hours on them and hot Aussie sun probably wore it out. Tried a new sensor already for $20...damn! Really I'd like a set of Autometer Cobalts in there (love them matching the dash).

Having to redo wiring for all 3 gauges does not excite me though...nor does spending $100+ per gauge to replace and have a matching set...digital OBDII readouts will do in a pinch (have videos of Torque app on Android phone comparing against the crazy boost gauge) but I prefer a physical gauge.

Currently I run oil pressure, temp and boost. Would prefer to replace one of the oils with AFR instead. Probably replace oil temperature as you can read that from existing sensor in the car I think over OBDII.

I have all the fittings except the T piece for boost gauge and brass adaptor for oil sender( probably $5 from supacheap) and I cut the wires for oil sender plug (3 wires) easy fix.

$50 posted.

I will check gauge size when I get home but they were a snug fit in the standard pod.

Just thought I'd put the offer out there as the gauges are just sitting on the bench and I have no use for them anymore.

Realised during a chat to Phil this evening that I never put the disconnected shifter cable in here.

Basically pulled in to Bunnings trade drive through towing a trailer, key off...get stuff, car won't start, just lots of lights. Shifter felt sloppy. I had a sure feeling the car thought it was in drive still.

Was very lucky that Luke picked up and had a spare minute for me to hassle him. First about if I could get at the shifter base easily enough from within the car at Bunnings. Took bits off and eventually could see the rod that runs from the shifter to the front of the car...still seemed attached. Moved back and forwards except when in sequential mode which I realised was just electronic sensors. I previously thought the entire shifting was done by electronics but the moving rod showed me otherwise. Luke advised getting under the car, get the missus to move the shifter and see what I could find in terms of loose things. I had recently put my set of stands back in the boot so got to use them and not worry about putting a wheel under the car for safety

That got me home and I ordered a newy on fleabay... thing cost a mint for my model, I think it was $120 or so, can't quite remember.

Was not keen on chasing the actual cable through the car so I had a go at getting the broken clip off...great success!

Popped it on in the driveway... let's hope it stays on for another 240,000km. I don't like the idea that the car is connected to the box by this crappy thing though. And turns out there is actually an arm on the side of the ZF...that's what the real clunk feeling is as you move between P-R-N-D. Nice PITA.
