how do y'all reckon plastidip would go on chrome exhaust tips- too hot?

Probably be fine, the tips are a long way from the hot area.

I plan on plastidipping my wheels white in a couple of weeks, it was that or orange (thought it would be a bit loud) haha

Doubt it...go grab your exhaust tip after a long run.

It'll burn, stink and be impossible to get off.

Finally got round to doing my grille and foglight surrounds today I was going to clear coat them but I dont mind the dull black look, spent more time cleaning the excess off the chrome than painting.

You need to make sure there is plenty of coating on areas that will get over spray so you have something to peel off, took a good 2 hours cleaning off the specs on the chrome whilst trying not to rub the grille itself.

I usually mask off a square around what I want to spray and that way I don't end up having to clean off overspray and everything I want to peel off is thick enough to peel off without any dramas

So got keen on the weekend and plastidip my wheels, and also colour coded the brake callipers

The wheels make the car look a lot better and the stripes suit it more now I think
