Followed Phil the taxi mans suggestion which ended with getting new Control Arm and Trailing Arm ( <-- 1 gone but replaced both - obviously) bushes installed.

65000km's and the factory ones had given up so they replaced them with Whiteline bushes instead of solid just to keep it all a 'bit' softer for me.

The rear aligned up easily but they had to add a shim to two to the front.....don't quote me but I think he said that the left front was -4 degrees and right wasn't much better. He said he used about 8mm of shims to stand the wheels up straight - something like that anyway - and there was absolutely zero toe in it so he adjusted that as well.

The car doesn't feel like it's going to drive over the front wheels when I jump on the big Brembos now

Picked up a new piece for the puzzle.

Now for bungs to be welded on, and to choose a color.

Any ideas on colors?

Chrome, no

Yellow like caliper, maybe.

Color coded same as 50th Anniversary grill, maybe.

Black, more than likely.

I dunno the red cover is kind of the signature of the turbo donk(or blue....) what about just nicer red, maybe a deeper red.

Just did the same, will pick it up tomorrow with -12AN fittings.
