Another couple of hours Tomorrow night and she'll be rolling again.

looking good man, just be interested to get that drive!

you need more subframes, get them welded on, powdercoated and  then boom bolt in change overs

Changed the inlet manifold gasket last night - fun!

Been having issues with cold starts and a P2110 error (throttle actuator control system)

On some cold starts it would rev to 2k then drop to 1k and run like a POS. Switch ignition of and on then would be fine for the rest of the day. Other times cold starts would see revs fluctuate between 1k and 2k till warmed up - bit all over the shop.

Happy to say after replacement it kicked over first go from a cold start to a nice steady idle. Is now running much smoother than before.

Guess the giveaway was when the old gasket fell into 3 pieces when taking out.

Fellas I bought a ba XR6 and I'm puzzled.

Problem.
Ba XR6 intermittently cuts out. Starts then throws engine light and then goes into a limp mode and turns off.
If I don't cycle the key it won't restart as the engine light is on.
Cycle the key and its starts and runs for anywhere between 2 seconds and 10 minutes.

Only code is p0351 which is coil 1. Moved coil 2 to 1 and put a second hand coil into 2. Code still exists on coil 1.

Help needed big time.
