what happened?

 

helped my mate put a light bar on the front of his rexy

took it for a drive in the dark

I was doing some data logging and it was loaded up to full boost. One end of the pipe let go and it must have hit the road and got caught cos it got ripped off entirely and I ran it over.

I don't think so. I haven't had a look under the car yet. The rest of the piping is still intact though.

Replaced the intercooler pipe today. I don't think the new bit will pop off. I did some logging and the pipe stayed on.

 

The car was coming on boost very late. I checked the manifold and turbo and they are tight. No error codes. 

 

I think the wastegate is stuck partially open but I won't know until I check it tomorrow.

The wastegate was stuck open. The rod was just touching the engine mount. A quick adjustment on the bracket fixed it. Here are some pics;

Don't mind the oil, it is from the leaking oil drain the other day. I really oughta pick up some degreaser and clean it off.
