Whacked a shiny new turbo gasket in today as the old one had done it's dash.

Don't you just love it when you drop sh*t in your intercooler piping and have to get under the car to remove the pipes to get it out?!

Quick one guys.
I've got a noisy injector that's getting even worse. Can I unplug them one by one while the car is running to figure out which one (or ones) are making all the racket?
They're kpm 1000cc, bout 16 months old

Thanks@Puffwagon
Just tried it & either they're all noisy or it's something else. Any one got any idea on my mysterious ticking noise? Been able to hear it idle outside the car for ages but only recently have I been able to hear it while driving when putting the foot down.

It sounds like noisy injectors. I don't really know enough about injectors to tell you what it is.

Maybe someone else has seen this happen before and I spose there would be some info on the web about the various noises or failings that injectors have.

Pulled half the damn turbo off because one of the turbine housing to core bolts had completely backed itself out again... [emoji34]

It's always the most hard to get at one also, under the water banjo on the block side. They have all been heli-coiled due to slight cracking but still need constant tightening.

Bring on the high mount I say!

Locking tabs should solve that problem for you. Just bend the tab up when the bolt is tight.

My car is showing blocked fuel filter symptoms again. I've got another new fuel filter so I'll fit it today.

I've also got a clunk in the front end so I'd better chase it down.

If I'm feeling extra keen I'll give it a wash and wax. Having a black car in a dusty area sucks dogs balls.
