Finally decided it's time I own a printer...so bought myself a colour laser printer.

I like the idea of colour lazer printer because toner cartridges do not dry up and last longer.

How much did it set you back?

Am not a big fan of brother products.

$380. There were a few different ones there around the same price with similar features but I preferred the design of this one.

A pair of Bose QC20 Noise Cancelling in Ear Phones.

Very very happy so far, Noise cancelling and sound qaulity or way up from the 3yr old set of Creative Ear Phones I used previosuly and the earpiece design is the comfiest I have tried yet.

sh*t do they actually sample sound at the ear through that pointy bit and filter it out?or what is that pointy bit?

Nah, they are just supports for the ear piece as the speaker doesn't actually sit in the ear canal the top bit supports it.

The grill looking bit is the sampling point for the noise cancelling.

Been around for years mate. I have being using varios brands basically since I start fifo work. I cannot handle sitting on a plane without noise cancelling headphone these days.
