Legacy Donating Member 10,981 Member For: 13y 5m 4d Gender: Male Location: Frankston, 3199 Posted 16/02/17 03:51 AM Posted 16/02/17 03:51 AM Just got an external bluetooth GPS receiver for the trackdays etc http://gps.dualav.com/explore-by-product/xgps160/ Links in directly with Harry's Track Timer (which in turn links with the GoPro's and the OBDII) This one will poll the GPS at 10hz instead of the 1hz so should be far more accurate than the stock phone one (phone was actually polling every 1.5sec - this one will do it 10 times a second) Will be interesting using the TomTom on the phone too - hopefully no more "ooooh - you meant turn at that corner I just passed" All I need to do now is learn how to drive :S 3

GPS on the dash or on the rear parcel shelf - phone put away in the center console. (if they enforce the "no timing" rule)

AWD, 7 seater, Altitude model (19s, moon roof, roof mounted DVD). Am thoroughly impressed with how it drives and the build quality. If someone told me it was 2 months I'd believe them. Good news is wife is happy and XR6T goes back to being my daily. Bad news is that it's probably time to put the EL XR6 up for sale. The kids think it's frigging Christmas. 6 year old couldn't sleep last night because he was thinking about the new car.

It's a 8hr job and the ballpark price through Toyota is $1100-$1600 so make sure it's been done as apart of the deal and if the service book clearly DOESN'T state it's been done then it hasn't been as many opt to not do it in the 80-110k major we traded our 2010 model at this point without it being done also so it would be on the next owner to do
