I'm a bit the same when it comes to badges. If the wife likes it it's getting bought. Got some awesome safety features and integrated booster seats and stuff for the kid(s?) as it(they?) gets older.Plus few friends have run volvo's into the ground so hopefully it'll last a good long while.

Must be the thing to do in Europe now - SLK200 = 1.8L, C/E/S/SL63 = 6.2L

Even if you're not sure about something just say it convincingly and all will be OK. Cousin has had one for a while with a few kids thrashing the fck out of it and it handles it beautifully, so yeah it should last you a while. And it'll give your mates an awesome amount of ammo to hang sh*t on you for driving a volvo. 1
