Don't get me wrong fluff I agree.. BUT.. I did say that 9 times out of 10 I'm more than happy with the situation..

I just want a night off.. If I go away for work.. I get a break.. But it's never the same.. Unfortunately work doesn't send me away too often anymore..

Progressively stopped doing what your doing every now and then NHASP I find it helps to reset the level of expectation and helps the other party realise it's a joint effort. Normally all it takes is for me to ignore the nappy bin for a couple of days and she realises it doesn't just empty itself.

hopefully this brightens hte mood. I laughed a fair bit at this.

When my wife and I had our kids the wife was working full time and I was on shift work.

The grandparents helped out when we both worked days(probably 2 day's a week)

I work every second weekend so when I was off during the week (usually averaged 3-4 days midweek) I was responsible for 2 young kids.

So for a good chunk of the week I was a stay at home dad.

I really didn't find it that hard.

Just had to be organised.

My wife and I worked as a team and had very few if any arguments.

We did tag team, she would be walking in the door and literally I would be walking out.

We , I always made sure everything was ready to go , dinner ,bottles, house tidy etc when she got home and I was leaving.

I gotta say it worked really well and we did this for 10 years.

My wife now only averages 2 days a week work and she now handles the bulk of the housework (she was offered a redundancy 2 years ago and mortgage was payed off so I said just get a casual job)

Kids are 10 and 13 now so it's much easier.

A marriage is a partnership these days especially if both working.

To be honest I miss those days a bit because I really bonded with my kids whilst still young.

I could easily be a stay at home dad, no problem.

It's deadset easier than a full time job and the rewards a far better.
