Sounds like what mine did...WOT in 3rd, shift to 4th and it tries but just slips back in 3rd and redlines the fk out of the engine Edited 11/05/16 05:23 AM by -Stever- 1

Engine idles smooth and perfect out of gear then feels rough as in gear. Put into into gear on cold startup and hold it on the brake just idling, feels like it has a massive cam for like 30 seconds. Doesnt do that if left in park. 120000km. Been serviced stock power. I suspect my short shifting at high loads is the culprit. 1st 2nd 3rd on the brake etc...... I dont think I have owned a car that my lack of mechanical sympathy hasnt destroyed the gearbox so im hardly surprised or upset.

barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 12y 8m 16d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 11/05/16 05:28 AM Posted 11/05/16 05:28 AM so I should tag the limiter on the way to 3rd gear when trying to build wheel speed for skids.... and matty I have destroyed many clutches also. good ones arent cheap either by high load steve I mean right in the fat of the torque curve, where the torque reduction is most aggressive coz box is trying to stay alive. coz maximum farts...

It doesn't do many kms so a lot of the kms are pretty savage. Also been to drags probably 8 or 9 times, twice with drag radials and wears semi slicks daily It started out slipping just into 4th no where else, last time at drags all shifts all shifts felt sloppy and last night it did it's first flare into third and fourth wouldn't go in at all until I backed off
