I had it plugged into a large power board that is supposed to have a surge protector in it.

Also had my sparkie fit something to the house mains board that was designed to minimise power surges

If I get it fixed for free, then extended warrantys aren't worth the paper they are printed on, and I read an article by choice magazine that pretty much said just that !!!!

Update: Samsung service agent rang me this morning.

TV is getting repaired free of charge.

The shop I bought my Wedding Suit from has closed down, disconnected numbers etc and done a runner with my money without delivering my suit. 

 

This is pi$$ing me off.

I'll keep it in mind lol. 

 

In April they said they would honour all orders still then d/c numbers, not replying to emails etc. Will probably end up costing the same as the suit if not more trying to get a refund but still might persue it out of principle. If everyone did it they would be broke and that's about the only justice anyone can have in this situation.
