I have good line attenuation and SNR ratio yet my ISP will blame the local telephone lines for the internet dropping out....but I'll ring up anyway. That's your router mate. Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago with an iinet modem/router. bought a new one for 80 bucks from jb hifi and problem solved
