After spending $500 on my cats tail to only have him disappear a few weeks later, I will be donating all of my pets, aka cats employed as mouse hunters, to the Roseworthy Uni for free euthanasia, unless it's fairly minor.

 

They'll get their shots, desexed, microchips and a lifetime of food and love but that's about it.

Imagine if you were trying to get out the door in a suit to get the kids to school and then go to a job interview, and the cat took a dump, had half of it hanging from its butt and then starting dragging it's rear around the house trying to get rid of it...

Farken cat climbs up on the back of the couch, I pat it and it immediately farts a filthy mix of wet cat food with a twist of chicken necks. I run out the room huffing and spitting cos I can literally feel the air density in my sinus and mouth change from the inhalation. 4yo is like "what's wrong daddy?". The 2yo is telling her "smelly farts smelly farts, kitty do smelly farts".

 

Nek fart I have, kitty gone git it.
