But mechanics being as shifty as they can be (and you can say that for alot of trades) will do stuff to boost their net profit if the opportunity arises. Sometimes you really got to take a close look at personalities when dealing with people, and if they seem a bit hungry for money, its sometimes a bad sign.So my recomendation is in order to avoid a workshop who may do shifty stuff is to deal with people with nice personalities and people that you can communicate with. But when I say nice personality, I mean not when they are chasing your dollar, its when you have given your dollars and problems arise.

Because of the nature of this business, gearboxes are gonna break, most legitimately and one every now and then helped along.But the young kids of today having so much money from mining work in WA just cough up the dosh and don't question anything.
