Not gonna tell. But mechanics being as shifty as they can be (and you can say that for alot of trades) will do stuff to boost their net profit if the opportunity arises.

Sometimes you really got to take a close look at personalities when dealing with people, and if they seem a bit hungry for money, its sometimes a bad sign.

So my recomendation is in order to avoid a workshop who may do shifty stuff is to deal with people with nice personalities and people that you can communicate with. But when I say nice personality, I mean not when they are chasing your dollar, its when you have given your dollars and problems arise.

Well I wouldnt say there are to many shops doing ZF rebuilds. So its pretty easy to workout who he is talking about.

I'm confused why you mention you can recommend the shop that tried to hurt the gearbox, and then not tell us who it is unless your trying to blackmail the workshop ?

Who was it and how did you figure out they deliberately tried to hurt the box?

I can understand if it's some random guy doing tunes from his backyard but if it's a well known shop then it's for the best interest

for us to know the full facts.

How easy could you prove something of this nature. Not very easy. Because of the nature of this business, gearboxes are gonna break, most legitimately and one every now and then helped along.

But the young kids of today having so much money from mining work in WA just cough up the dosh and don't question anything. The best customer around.

Wasn't sure where exactly where to put this one but I'm looking for suggestions on where to take my G6E for maintenance and modifications in Perth? Strictly south of the river and not Xtreme Ford Tuning. 

Please don't turn this into a bashing thread for the above named company, maintenance and mods shops located south of the river only please.
