The most basic mod you can do is a Tune without Injectors but if you want to actually notice

a decent difference don't bother with just a Tune itself.

If you want to notice a difference, Tune + Injectors + Hiflo Cat + Airbox Mod or Aftermarket Intake.

If you want to re-use factory Airbox, Make sure filter is clean otherwise replace it.

After these above mods you will have everything you like about the car but it will be noticeably faster.

Also if you have traction problems currently, you wont be able to Enjoy your Tune at all so put very good tyres on, this is something that should be included in every performance package.

If you want a big difference you need to put a larger turbo on and supporting mods this will get expensive.

There is no best place to go in Perth, I've heard bad and good things about the common tuners in Perth,

talk to them and go with the tuner that you feel most confident to mod your car.

+1, as said above go to the tuner and have a word with them about what you would like.

I heard about black mac in morley, but they always seemed closed when I went there.

There is Simon at XFT which is in midvale.

There is Rob at Monsta Torque which is in Malaga.

I think there is kpm motorsport in caningvale?

There are a few around, but makemthe effort to go and see them.

We are looking at buying from Wangara Nuford and wondering what after sales service here is like? Can anyone help on this? We have found with quite a few dealers of other brands that they are all good and smiles until they get your money.

Can confirm horror story of them gluing a mate's Brand new 03 Gt's handbrake cover on with what appeared to be selley no more gaps. Of course it went soft in the sun and slipped off the first time he released the handbrake (in their car park) and dump glue all over the console lid etc.

I could also go on about the 3wk turn around for a diff cover reseal but that's another story for another thread.

I bought my Typhoon from them, servicing wasn't too bad. Didn't have any horror stories, they were tough to get Loan cars out of though.

How about buying your car from nuford, but using Monsta Torque in Malaga for servicing?

That way you'll have real skilled people putting their hands on your girl as they specialise in turbo fords.

Just be carefull though, a true 500hp daily driver FG is only a credit card swipe away at places like that!
