Not worried about smashing synchros? I run a short shifter and strong spring and my second gear synchro is pretty much stuffed. Been looking into doing my own gear box rebuild with Kevlar bands and what not but dunno if I'm up to it.

I think he's thinking the gear selector is actually controlled by bands, rather than forks/rails etc.

Never even realised my name was on the board from a run I did 6 years ago haha. That was a 12.22 @ 116 mph with 308 rwkw. Youngy also did a 11.7 which was the quickest manual at the time.

No flat shifts, but I run this setup to make the shifts quicker.

Matt I'm 99.9% sure u would have the record at 11.4. Nearly all the cars in front of you are pretty high hp cars with a lot spent on them
